Accommodations: Upon arrival, guests are transported by boat or golf cart to one of the resort's air-conditioned suites, which are set along the white-sand beach, on pylons atop the Caribbean waters, or along a network of crystal-clear lagoons in the mangrove jungle. The strikingly modern accommodations range from 800 to 3,700 square feet in size, with an additional 200-400 square feet of outdoor space consisting of private terraces, sundecks, gardens, plunge pools, and outdoor showers. Satellite TV, a CD player, and high-speed Internet access make the rooms high-tech havens. Luxury amenities include nightly turndown service and fresh fruit and bottled water delivered daily. Concierge-level accommodations include concierge, valet, and butler service, as well as 24-hour in-room dining, and daily housekeeping and turndown service.
Dining & Entertainment: Casa Del Lago has tranquil views of the main pool and a nearby lagoon while offering an extensive breakfast buffet, light luncheons ideal for enjoying al fresco on the terrace or poolside, and contemporary European cuisine in the evenings. At Punta Bonita, a relaxed open-air setting and stunning Caribbean views accompany regional specialties served family-style. The spa cafe Itzamna specializes in organic lifestyle cuisine. And each evening at Agave Azul Raw Bar & Tequila Library, resident tequila experts share their insights and serve some of the region's best, alongside seafood ceviches and a wide selection of appetizers.
Recreation: Greg Norman's challenging 7,000-yard, 18-hole golf course "El Camaleon" plays host to the MayakobaClassic, the PGA Tour's first-ever event to be held in Mexico. The course bends through tropical jungles and dense mangroves and meanders along the oceanfront with holes bordered by massive limestone canals. Indulge in the many activities such as swimming at the resort's beachfront, infinity-edge, and spa lap pools. There are snorkeling and diving excursions to the world's second-largest reef as well as crystal-clear cenotes. Explore Mayan ruins in Tulum or the ecological haven of Xcaret. The Children's Activity Club entertains young guests while you set off on horseback riding adventures, go deep-sea or sport fishing, and take cooking classes.
Spa: Sense, A Rosewood Spa occupies its own small island and surrounds a cenote. The spa encompasses 12 treatment rooms and 8 Deluxe Spa Suites with a private treatment room, outdoor garden shower, terrace with plunge pool, and rooftop sundeck. There is also a heated pool, fully equipped gym, juice bar, saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, and relaxation areas as well as daily yoga and meditation classes. Most spa treatments use native natural ingredients such as aloe and agave cactus.
