Accommodations: Air-conditioned suites – all with Jacuzzi or hydro-massage tubs, furnished balconies, and spectacular views of the Caribbean, lagoon, or pool – are in a series of low-rise villas designed in Mexican hacienda style, set amid tropical vegetation and opening onto a half-mile stretch of white-sand beach. Diamond Suites also have separate living rooms as well as roof terraces with outdoor oversize Jacuzzi tubs. Each building of suites has its own concierge. Contemporary-style rooms have traditional furniture, ceiling fans, blackout drapes, and mini-bars. Tech amenities include TVs with cable/satellite programming, a DVD player, phones with voice mail, and complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access. Baths have a separate tub and shower, TV, phone, and bidet; bathrobes and slippers are also supplied. Complimentary amenities include bottled water, daily newspapers, and turndown service.
Dining & Entertainment: A complimentary breakfast with buffet and a la carte options is provided. Le Marche Buffet Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late dinner, featuring International cuisine in a setting of tropical gardens and ponds. L'Alsace is a gourmet restaurant with a wine-pairing menu, open for dinner only. The oceanfront Beach Restaurant is the place for steaks and seafood, with open-air and terrace dining available in the thatched-roof palapa-style room. Fish & Seafood, also on the beach, offers seafood and lobster with Caribbean views. Il Olivo's menu showcases pasta and other Italian specialties. Japanese dishes are the focus at Ginger. The restaurant Lobster House speaks for itself, and La Hacienda serves Mexican food for dinner. There are 7 snack bars on the property, including 2 each at the main pool, the meandering swim-up pool, and the beach area. Twelve bars are located on site, including the elegant Don Miguel Main Lobby Bar, 2 swim-up bars in the main pool, a terrace bar, a sports bar, a theater bar, and a cigar bar. There is nightly live entertainment in addition to a pulsing disco.
