Accommodations: Comprised of separate living rooms and bedrooms, the all-suite accommodations feature small kitchen areas with microwaves, coffee makers, and refrigerators, wet bars, dining tables with seating for four, and oversized sofa beds. Both the bedrooms and the living room have direct access to the private, furnished balconies, and both rooms have TVs. Satellite channels, air-conditioning, phones with data ports, and in-room safes are all standard. All showcase an understated tropical decor, with soothing tones, tile and carpeted floors, blond-wood furnishings, and watercolor paintings on the walls.
Dining & Entertainment: A complimentary breakfast buffet is served each morning, and includes hot items such as eggs, pancakes, bacon, and an omelet station cooked-to-order, as well as continental fare like cereal, toast, and fresh fruit. Additionally, the hotel has 2 on-site restaurants and 1 snack bar. North Beach Grill has an air-conditioned dining room and outdoor seating on a patio. Dinner is a selection of regional and Mediterranean cuisine served a la carte. Ohana Grill & Bar is a casual poolside spot open from mid-morning to early evening, with lunch and light dinner menus. Lion’s Den offers a great selection of drinks including, coffees, teas, smoothies, and a light snack menu. Room service runs the same hours as the restaurants. The town of Lahaina is minutes away, and home to a wealth of restaurants and interesting shops.
Recreation: The spectacular pool and the great beach location are both among the nicest on the island. Swimming and sunbathing are favorite pastimes, and if you prefer a more active vacation, there's everything from beach volleyball, to snorkeling, sailing, scuba diving, and Hawaii's preferred pastime, surfing (diving and surfing instruction is available through numerous schools; ask your travel consultant about arranging lessons). A fitness center has weights and a sauna. A luau, in which the concierges would be glad to set up, is a must for any Hawaii vacation, a chance to experience authentic island culture and enjoy a sumptuous feast of regional cuisine. Hiking trails lead through the jungle to secluded waterfalls, and helicopter tours give you a bird's eye view of the volcanoes.
