Aqua Waikiki Wave Vacation Packages
Aqua Waikiki Wave Description
Surf-themed boutique hotel, affordable and only a 5-minute walk from Waikiki Beach – Adjacent to the shops of the International Marketplace and just 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach, this 15-story boutique hotel is perfect if you're traveling on a budget, but still looking for a hotel with ambience. Accommodations: Rooms have a chic, urban ambience: Walls and ceilings with light tones, balanced against bright fabrics and retro-Hawaiian artwork. All have private lanais, the majority with views of the city, but some with partial views of the Pacific. Configurations vary between multiple queen beds, single king beds, and king beds with sofa sleepers in some suites. Standard in all are air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, DVD players, phones, complimentary high-speed internet, in-room safes, mini-fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, and irons/ironing boards. Baths have combination showers/tubs, hairdryers, and Aqua's signature brand of bath products. Kids under 17 years of age stay for free when lodging with their parents or guardians.
Dining & Entertainment: There are 2 restaurants on-site. The Big Kahuna serves burgers, pizza, salads, appetizers, and other classic American fare, while China Garden Restaurant serves Cantonese cuisine. Many more dining options are nearby. A visit to Duke's Restaurant & Barefoot Bar is a must; it's less than a 5-minute walk away and serves excellent authentic Hawaiian cuisine and tropical drinks (try the Hula Pie for dessert) in an appropriately laid-back beachside setting. You can also try the Japanese menu at Kacho, Italian at Matteo's and Ciao, and the food court at the International Marketplace.
Recreation: There's a pool and a fitnesscenter, but the bigger draw is the location, which puts you within a few minutes walk of Waikiki Beach, one of the world's most famous beaches. Spending a day or an afternoon there is a must for any visit here. You're also near the Waikiki Beach Walk, an outdoor promenade of shops, restaurants, and nightspots that's one of the city's biggest draws for travelers. Honolulu also has great hiking opportunities like the Diamond Head crater, luaus and feasts celebrating Polynesian culture, horseback and ATV rides, day cruises, tours of filming locations, and historic attractions like Pearl Harbor.
