Accommodations: The guest rooms and suites are housed within 3-story villas, all of which are air-conditioned and have balconies or ground-floor terraces with views of the gardens, pool, or ocean. Amenities include TV, CD player, phone, stocked mini-bar, coffee and tea maker, hairdryer, and iron/ironing board. Royale, Vista, and Grande rooms have furnished balconies with sitting areas and sofa beds, and the Junior Suites include a separate living room.
Dining & Entertainment: Jimmy's Buffet serves an expansive spread of international fare in a casual, open-air setting for all meals. The 3 a la carte evening options include Pastafari, an Italian specialty offering a pasta bar and wine list; Munasan, a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant; and Paris, a casual but elegant spot serving French cuisine. El Coco is a beachside grill that serves snacks and informal meals 24 hours a day, as well as Mexican-style a la carte meals in the evening. NOTE: A la carte dinners require reservations. Drinks are served at 5 bars and there are weekly trapeze shows, live music, and revues in the amphitheatre. A disco is open late and there's also a kids' restaurant and a kids' disco.
Recreation: The over-sized swimming pools include a lazy river and waterslides for kids, and a swim-up bar for adults. Enjoy the tropical sunshine lounging poolside and on the beach. Kayaks and boogie boards are among the water sport options, and introductory scuba diving is taught in the pool. On dry land there's basketball and tennis courts, a rock climbing wall, volleyball, soccer, and a gym, as well as trapeze clinics and ice-skating. Golfers like the on-site 9-hole pitch and putt, and the several nearby 18-hole courses. Kids ages 4-12 have their own pool and a mini-club. Shuttles to Cabarete and Sousa make it easy for you to experience local culture.
