Resort Description
Capturing all the style of the American southwest, this moderate resort offers a relaxing, desert-style setting. Enjoy Nuevo Latino cuisine and a variety of recreational facilities.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is designed for the adventurer in you. Inspired by Francisco de Coronado's travels from Northern Mexico to the American Southwest, accommodations here are complemented by colorful plazas, palm-shaded courtyards and a rocky shoreline surrounding a 15-acre lake. A Mayan pyramid towers over the elaborate pool area. Also in its shadow is a playground that doubles as an archeological dig site for young explorers.
Additional recreational possibilities at Disney Coronado Springs Resort are boat and bicycle rentals at La Marina, two game arcades, three quiet pools, nature walks, tennis and golf at Walt Disney World® Resort's five nearby championship courses. And, since discovering all there is to do here is bound to make you quite hungry, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort features the Maya Grill, a lakeside restaurant specializing in food cooked over an open wood-burning fire, and the Pepper Market Food Court offeringa variety of foods from the spicy to the mild. There's also Siesta's, a poolside bar and grill, and Francisco's, a brightly colored lounge with a sidewalk café atmosphere.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is centrally located near Epcot® and Disney-MGM Studios, and is next to Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. It is across from and slightly north of Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
