Resort Description

New Orleans comes to Las Vegas at this hotel just west of the Strip that's designed to look like the French Quarter. Even the locals drop in for the food, entertainment, the spa, and gambling.

Dressed up to resemble the Big Easy, this hotel and casino can keep you up to all hours playing cards, trying to bowl the perfect game, and eating, eating, eating.

The 1,886 rooms and suites, with king- and queen-size beds, are facing toward either the Strip or the mountains. They all have air-conditioning, cable TV, a coffee maker, a clock radio, an iron and an ironing board, and a hairdryer. The suites also have a wet bar with a refrigerator.

It's surf 'n' turf at the Canal Street restaurant, and seafood with a Cajun flair at Big Al's Oyster Bar. The Prime Rib Loft is for when you're especially hungry. Don Miguel's serves Mexican, and Koji is a sushi bar and a Chinese restaurant. You can also get Chinese at the Courtyard Cafe, along with New Orleans-style specials. Sazio does Italian, Terrible Mike's grills to order, and the French Market Buffet is a good value. Go to Brendan's Irish Pub for Irish bottled beers and Kate's Korner for ice cream.

The casino has more than 3,000 slot and other machines, favorite table games such as blackjack and roulette, a poker room, and a keno lounge. The Showroom headlines singers, and the Orleans Arena plays host to boxing matches, concerts, hockey games, and more. Head to the Bourbon Street Cabaret for a drink and some live entertainment. The hotel also has an 18-screen movie theater, a spa and fitness center, a 70-lane bowling center, an arcade, a pool, a whirlpool, a child care center, and a wedding chapel.

Everything you need for a good time in Vegas.
