Accommodations: All of the junior suites and suites are housed within the large wings of a U-shaped building. Each features a furnished private balcony or ground-floor terrace with views of the gardens, courtyard, or ocean, as well as a sitting area with a sofa or sofa bed. Amenities include air-conditioning, satellite TV, phone, in-room safe, a mini-bar, liquor dispenser, and iron/ironing board. Baths include jetted hydro-massage tubs, hair dryers, and bath amenities. Select suites feature Jacuzzis.
Dining & Entertainment: Don Manuel is a buffet and cook-to-order restaurant, open for all meals, with themed dinners 3 nights a week. For a la carte dining, there is Brazilian cuisine at La Bodega; gourmet dining at Sir Oscar; Japanese specialties at Yokohama; pizza, pasta, and salads at Luigi's; and grilled entrees and a steakhouse menu served poolside at Altagracia. NOTE: All a la carte restaurants require reservations, and all evening dining has an enforced dress code. Drinks are served at 4 bars, including a sports bar and swim-up bar. "Caribbean Street," a mock shanty town and common area, is home to a pizzeria, internet cafe, and the Pacha Nightclub. Live music and revue provide nightly entertainment. You also have exchange privileges with the other hotels inside the mega-resort.
Recreation: Complimentary loungers line the free-form pool, which has an adjoining Jacuzzi. At the beach you can stretch out on the white sand, and try windsurfing, kayaking, and snorkeling. Pump up in the gym, play some tennis, and wind it all down in the sauna. It's your vacation, so be sure to indulge in the rejuvenating and relaxing menu of treatments, therapies, and massages at Eternal Spa. A playground, children's pool, and a mini-club entertain kids ages 4-12.
