Accommodations: The newly designed spacious rooms have a bright and airy modern look. Multiple villages make up the property, and there are 9 categories of accommodations. All feature private balconies, a king bed or 2 queen beds, walk-in closets, air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, DVD players, telephones with voicemail, iPod docking stations, high-speed internet access, in-room safes, mini-fridge, deluxe bath amenities, hairdryers, and irons/ironing boards. Most categories offer ocean views. The 1- and 2-bedroom suites have separate living areas with sofa beds. TIP: Las Brisas Ocean View Rooms have the best views, and are closest to the funicular that connects the villages.

Dining & Entertainment: The award-winning dining includes 21 on-site restaurants and lounges. The NYC-style Strip House is the newest culinary attraction, and other fine dining options include Northern Italian cuisine at Otello’s, Pan Asian cuisine at Blossoms, and Stingray Cafe, serving Caribbean dishes and seafood. More casual fare is served at the numerous poolside spots and alfresco cafes throughout the property. There are several bars, including a swim-up bar and a martini bar. For quick snacks, there’s Starbucks and the Sweet Corner Cafe. Room service is available 24 hours a day. The casino has an array of slot machines and table gaming.

Recreation: The newly built Coqui Water Park hasa lazy river, rope bridges, a variety of slides, and an expansive main pool surrounded by a 30,000-square-foot sundeck. There is an 18-hole and a 9-hole golf course, 7 tennis courts (4 lighted), and a 35-slip marina. The lavish 26,000-square-foot Golden Door spa has a fitness center, juice bar, and a full menu of skin treatments and massages. The private 100-acre Palomino Island has white-sand beaches (including a secluded clothing-optional beach), miniature golf, horseback riding, windsurfing, snorkeling, and a hilltop wedding chapel. If you find yourself in the mood to shop, there's a host of boutiques on-site. Local excursions let you explore rainforest, mangroves, protected beaches, and a bioluminescent bay.

  • Blossoms - Enjoy an an exquisite tour of the Orient, featuring three culinary styles that include a sushi bar that boasts the freshest seafood sizzling delights prepared on teppan-yaki tables. Reservations required. Men must wear a shirt with collar and dress pants
  • Golf Grill - Open for breakfast and lunch daily. Perched above the 18th green and the Tennis Center, Golf Grill offers the ideal setting for continental breakfast, lunch or cocktails.
  • Isabella`s Steak House - An American-style steakhouse and seafood restaurant. Reservations required.Men must wear a shirt with collar and dress pants.
  • Cafe Bella Vista - Open for lunch and dinner. A charming gazebo overlooking the main pool complex, Cafe Bella Vista is the perfect setting for casual al freso dining. Try our fresh salads, brick-oven pizzas, pasta dishes and "tapas" selections.
  • Le Bistro - (Seasonal) - Open for dinner only. This French restaurant is located in Las Casitas Village, and offers an exquisite menu, fine wines and cognacs and a fine selection of cigars. Reservations are required. Men must wear a shirt with collar and dress pants.
  • Casa de Langosta - A Caribbean seafood specialty restaurant.
  • Pool Grill - Open for lunch daily. Enjoy sandwiches, salads and light snacks with a view you can't beat.
  • Cafe Caribe - An international restaurant offering lunch and dinner. Men must wear a shirt with collar and dress pants.
  • Ballyhoo Bar & Grill - Open for lunch and dinner. Enjoy lively music, great food and tropical drinks. All-day dining features tasty salads and sandwiches, conch fritters, pizzas and burgers.
  • Las Brisas Restaurant - Offering a continental menu and scenic views of the Caribbean. Serving breakfast and lunch daily.
  • Cantina de las Olas - Offers a Tex-Mex menu in a casual atmosphere. Located mid-way up the cliff. Accessible via the resort's funicular transportation.
  • Stingray Cafe - Open for dinner only. This charming seafood restaurant is located at La Marina Village and offers indoor and and out door dining. Reservations required. Men must wear a shirt with collar and dress pants.
  • Otello`s - Serving Northern Italian cuisine. Open for dinner only. Reservations required. Men must wear a shirt with collar and dress pants.
