The home-like accommodations of the 242 villas, in 1- to 3-story buildings, include air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a queen-size sofa bed, a dining area, satellite TV, a washer and dryer, an in-room safe, and a hairdryer. The 1-bedroom villas have a king-size bed, and the 2-bedroom villas have a king-size bed and 2 double beds. The wicker furniture and brightly colored fabrics lend a tropical feel. Some of the villas have a balcony or terrace. Ask about daily housekeeping services.
You can get coffee, submarine sandwiches, and salads at the hotel's general store. For a wider selection of casual and fine dining, you need only walk a few blocks. Also, local pizzerias deliver. Another option is to have a picnic. NOTE: You need to supply your own fuel to use the barbecue.
The 2 climate-controlled, free-form swimming pools are surrounded by a wide and inviting sundeck. The kids squeal with pleasure in an interactive pool designed especially for them. It has colorful pipes that shower down water. You can burn up some energy at the fitness center, on the tennis court, on the basketball court, and in the video game room. On Wednesday nights, settle into a comfortable spot by the pool for the "Dive-In Movie," presented on a 17-foot screen. Be sure to get your share of popcorn. The hotel offers complimentary scheduled transportation to the Walt Disney World theme parks.
