Accommodations: The majority of the rooms are oceanfront, and feature balconies with views of the water. There are 10 garden view rooms that are offered at a value rate. First floor beachfront rooms have patios where you can walk right out onto the sand. Amenities include 1queen or 2 double beds, air-conditioning, TV, telephone, in-room safe, refrigerator, hairdryer, and iron/ironing board. Guests have the option of booking the room only; the European Plan, which includes activities (but no meals or drinks), in the rate; or the All-Inclusive Plan, where meals, drinks, and activities are included.
Dining & Entertainment: Open for all meals, Lobster Grille specializes in a variety of lobster dishes, including stuffed lobster, sautéed lobster, and grilled lobster. Steaks, chops, seafood, wine, and tropical cocktails are also on the menu. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, and snacks are available for lunch. Pancakes with rum sauce are a favorite at breakfast. Reservations are recommended, but not required, at Iggies, a popular spot for locals and travelers alike. Enjoy all you can eat dinners, creative cocktails, themed nights, 7 TVs, a billiards table, karaoke, beach parties, and live music. For a touch of romance, you can watch the sunset during a Champagne Sail around Amalie harbor, followed by a 3 course dinner at Lobster Grille (Wednesdays and Saturdays).
Recreation: There is plenty to do, from loungingby the pool and on the beach, to a variety of sports and activities, including tennis, basketball, volleyball (on lighted courts), windsurfing, parasailing, kayaking, aqua-tricycles, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Offsite tours include eco-adventures, cultural and historical sightseeing, and submarine excursions. Spend an afternoon swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing on a private beach in St. John when you set sail for a day cruise on Heavenly Days, the resorts own private 53' catamaran.
