Accommodations: Nine interconnected buildings set on a hilltop house the comfortable rooms and suites. TIP: Accommodations in the D building have the best ocean views, and those facing the pool put you in earshot of resort music. Your guest quarters has a private balcony or patio, air-conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, satellite TV, a coffee/tea maker, a mini-refrigerator, a safe, an alarm clock, a radio, a newspaper, bathrobes, an iron and an ironing board, and a hairdryer. NOTE: A hotel policyis that kids stay free. Expect evening turndown service, and inquire about getting wake-up calls.
Dining & Recreation: Make your selections from a full American breakfast buffet at the Manor House Restaurant. In the evening, dinner is served there in an intimate candlelit atmosphere. The Barista Coffee Shop has coffee and cappuccino, ice cream and Danishes, salads and sandwiches, and an assortment of teas. Poolside, dine on flame-broiled specialties at the Iguana Cafe. The casual Mangrove Restaurant offers lunch and dinner buffets, with a nightly international theme. For a fine dining experience, the formal Tuscany Restaurant prepares a la carte Italian favorites. Have a drink at the Turtle Rock Sports Bar. You can play video slots, blackjack, and poker; listen to local musicians play jazz, soca, and calypso; and get your taste buds dancing with freshly made pizzas at the Ocean Club. The resort hosts a weekly St. Thomas Carnival Party.
Recreation: Swim in the blue ocean and in the 3 adjoining freshwater pools with a waterfall. Area water recreation includes scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, and kayaking. You can play bingo and go coconut bowling. Form a team for badminton, beach volleyball, and basketball. The fitness center conducts a variety of classes and has cardiovascular exercise equipment. Play tennis on 4 lighted courts. Succumb to massages and hydrotherapy treatments at the pampering spa. Kids' club activities include games, arts and crafts, and nature walks. Take part in the iguana feeding by the lagoon and learn about the island's flora and fauna. The famous Mahogany Run Golf Course is nearby. A shuttle is available to local attractions.
