Accommodations: Nestled amid the lush palms that surround the lagoon, bungalow-style accommodations house the Superior Rooms and the Deluxe Oceanview rooms. All are equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fan, TV, telephone, mini-bar, personal safe, hairdryer, and iron/ironing board. You have the choice between a room with a king-size bed and a room with two double beds. All guest rooms have a private balcony or terrace. NOTE: Rooms have European, 220-voltelectric sockets, so American appliances require an adapter.

Dining & Entertainment: The main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, is located near the beach, and has an outdoor dining terrace. All meals are served buffet-style, with made-to-order omelets, fresh fruits, juice, coffee, tea, pastries, and more for breakfast; sandwiches, salads, seafood, and daily specials for lunch; while dinner has a different theme every night. The main bar has direct access to the beach, and both an indoor lounge and an open-air patio that overlooks the lagoon. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as snacks, are available all day long. NOTE: Champagne, some premium beverages, high-quality brandy, bottled and canned beverages, and the mini-bar incur an additional charge. Lively exhibitions of Tahitian dance are staged after sunset.

Recreation: Rife with flora and fauna, and many exotic aquatic creatures, the translucent-blue waters of the South Pacific are legendary for snorkeling, and your flippers, mask, snorkel, and everything else you need – even lessons to help you get started – are included. Scuba diving is also available through a local dive shop. And since staying on top of the water is fun too, you can try your hand at catamaran sailing and windsurfing. On land, there are 2 tennis courts lit for night play, beach volleyball, basketball, and Club Med Fitness, which offers a range of classes including aquafitness, low-impact aerobics, and bodybuilding. Lounging on the sand and swimming are favorite pastimes, and leisurely activities include dance and cooking lessons, plus table tennis.
