Accommodations: The guest rooms and junior suites are housed within 2- and 3-story buildings that are situated around the pool. Each has a king-sized bed or 2-double beds, and either a balcony or ground-floor terrace. Junior suites have separate living areas with sofa beds, and are closer to the beach and pool. Amenities include air-conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV, phones, in-room safes, mini-bars, coffee makers, and hairdryers.
Dining & Entertainment: A full breakfast is served at the main buffet-style restaurant (which is open for all meals, and features an open kitchen), and continental fare can be found at the poolside palapa. There are 6 a la carte dining venues, including restaurants specializing in Mexican, Mediterranean, Japanese, steakhouse, and Brazilian cuisine. NOTE: Guests are limited to 3 a la carte dinner reservations per week of stay. Snacks and drinks are available 24-hours a day, and there are plenty of bars to choose from, including 2 swim-up bars, a beachside bar, poolside bar, a theater bar, the lobby bar, and the Star Rock Cafe, which serves as both a sports bar and a nightclub. The complex boasts its own shopping center, and there are different live shows and music every night. Room service is available from 11:00am-11:00pm.
Recreation: The beach and pool are popular diversions for guests looking to relaxand unwind, and there are plenty of options for those who tend to have an abundance of energy on vacation. Daily activities like volleyball, ping pong, water polo, aerobics classes, and archery are organized by the Star Friends, the resort’s animation staff. There are lighted tennis courts and a variety of non-motorized water sports like windsurfing and catamaran sailing. An 18-hole golf course is nearby. El Spa offers a full range of treatments including massages, exfoliations, and hydrotherapy, and features a hair salon, sauna, Turkish baths, Jacuzzi, and more. Open to travelers ages 4-12, Lucy’s Kids Club has a daily program of organized activities and entertainment.

- El Mercado - An International buffet restaurant with gourmet show cooking, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Restaurant open for late night sncks from 11:00 pm to 5:30 am. Requires shirts with sleeves and proper foot wear at all times.
