Dining & Entertainment: Mariachi-Ragazzi is the main restaurant, located near the pool and serving both continental and buffet-style breakfast, plus international buffet for lunch and a la carte Mexican and Italian options for dinner. And, as the name suggests, Mariachis entertain as you dine. A poolside grill serves lunch, snacks, and informal meals. Drinks are served at 3 bars, including a beachside spot. Live entertainment livens up the evenings.
Recreation: Snorkeling, diving, kayaking, hiking, and cycling are among the most popular activities here, offering guests the chance to experience the scenic natural beauty of the region up close. A mini-zoo is on-site, with crocodiles, spider monkeys, and ringtail cats; guided ecological tours and excursions are hosted. An outdoor pool provides plenty of room to cool off and relax while spending some time in the sun, and there are separate sections for kids and teens. There are 8 spa treatment rooms and beauty salon for those who enjoy a bit of pampering, and a gym is on hand for fitness-minded travelers. The kids' club has activities that range from table games and arts and crafts, to the planting of endangered species and visits to local cenotes, rare sinkholes that provide natural freshwater wells.
