Accommodations: The guest rooms and junior suites are housed within 3-story bungalow-style buildings and have a tropical-colonial décor, with tiles floors, colorful fabrics, dark wood furniture, and Mexican-inspired artwork adorning the walls. Each has a balcony or terrace, a king-size bed or paired double beds, and a marble bath. Select junior suites feature terrace Jacuzzis. Amenities include air-conditioning, satellite TV, phones, in-room safes,mini-bars, coffee makers, and hairdryers. Concierge services handle reservations and any special requests. NOTE: Buildings lack elevators.
Dining & Entertainment: The main restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serves buffet-style meals. In addition, there are a variety of a la carte options to choose from, including a gourmet dining room, a steak house, and restaurants specializing in Cajun, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. Drinks are served at 9 bars, including a swim-up bar. All local and imported beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are included. With the “dine-around” option, you can choose to dine at the restaurants and bars at the Paraiso Maya, Paraiso Del Mar, and Paraiso Beach resorts. Live shows and music entertain in the evenings, and there is a nightclub located at Paraiso Del Mar. Room service is available 24-hours a day.
Recreation: There are 5 swimming pools and an open-air Jacuzzi onsite. Complimentary lounge chairs and umbrellas are available on several sun terraces. The spa offers a full menu of facials, body treatments, and massages, as well as a sauna, Roman bath, and more to help you unwind and rejuvenate during your stay. The complex has its own 18-hole golf course and PADI-certified dive center, with scuba instruction available for all levels of experience. Other athletic activities include aerobics, volleyball, tennis, basketball, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, and cycling. A fitness center is located at the Paraiso Beach resort. For travelers ages 4-12, Lucy’s Mini Club provides a varied program of activities such as games, painting, singing, and swimming in the children’s pool.
